Seeded American-Irish Brown Bread (arán donn)
Discover the taste of Ireland with our Seeded American-Irish Brown Bread, baked fresh and full of authentic flavor. Unlike other American-Irish soda breads, which typically are sweetened breads with raisins, our brown bread is only lightly sweetened and mixed with hearty ingredients such as sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and oats. Each loaf is made with over 2 cups of rich buttermilk to create a dense, nutritious bread that is perfect for breakfast with a pad of butter and sweet jam or as a flavorful side to soups and stews.
Our seeded American-Irish brown bread was made to carry on the family history of home-made brown bread on our family farm. We’ve developed a bread using the same home baking techniques perfected in Ireland, but with American-grown and processed ingredients. So you’ll still have to visit Ireland to have the real-deal.
