Timberline Farms Goat Milk Soap

Our small batch soap is made from our raw goats milk, infused olive oil, coconut oil, and shea butter. We infuse our olive oil with seasonal flowers, herbs, and vegetables grown on our farm. Our recipes use quality ingredients to ensure you feel cleansed and moisturized, even in the coldest weather. We use minimal, recycled, and compostable packaging to keep the environmental impact of our soaps low.

Why goats milk? Goats milk has been used for skincare for thousands of years. Milk baths have been known to keep skin healthy. It’s one of the reasons Cleopatra allegedly bathed in milk. Goats milk is known for keeping skin moisturized, while also gently exfoliating due to the lactic acid found in it.

Our goat milk comes from our small lamancha goat herd. We pasture rotate our goats to keep both our soil and goats happy and healthy. In addition, we alternate breeding our goats to ensure that our goats get 2-year long breaks from both birthing and milking. Our soap making matches what our goats produce, not the other way around. We don’t believe in pushing our goats to produce their maximum amount of milk. We meet our goats where they are at.

All of our flowers, herbs, and vegetables are grown using organic practices and without chemicals, pesticides, or synthetic fertilizers. We use crop rotation, cover cropping, and animal rotation to keep our soil healthy.
